North's new CFR-1 reusable particulate respirators give workers the comfort and protection they deserve at a much better value than ordinary dust masks. Ordinary dust masks quickly get warm, moist and uncomfortable and are often replaced several times a day. The filter in the CFR-1 does not touch the face keeping it cool and dry, and one filter can provide all day protection.

The facepiece is reusable, and replaceable filters will save money and reduce waste. Features and benefits include: soft thermoplastic elastomer seal provides maximum comfort to ensure greater worker acceptance, exhalation valve removes air quicker for easier and cooler breathing, inhalation valve keeps the filter drier and allows the user to perform a positive pressure seal check, adjustable harness system will ensure a comfortable and secure fit, parking mechanism provides a convenient place to put respirator when not in use, N95 filters available for a wide range of applications, three sizes to comfortably fit most users. The CFR-1 Welding Respirator comes with a stainless steel mesh cover to protect the user from heat, sparks and slag.

North CFR-1 half masks are ideal for dusty environments that require frequent change out of filters. The welding version features a stainless steel mesh cover to catch sparks and slag. Both the standard and the welding version are shipped with N95 filters. R95 replacement filters are also available for use where oil may be present.

NIOSH approved N95 for use in non-oil environments, and NIOSH approved R95 for use in environments that contain oil based aerosols. R filters are restricted to 8 hours of use if used when oil is present.
